Rosalie Gascogine: Down to the silver sea


"Down to the silver sea" three black and white cut out figures is based on Georges Braque’s cubist, Grand nu. These figures lay aginst a peice of corregated iron and a pink plastic leg was attatched to the cut out figures to create this sculpture. Rosalie used a wooden box, corregated iron, photographic reproduction and a plastic doll leg to create the sculpture "down to the silver sea". The sculpture measures 41 h x 42 w x 38 d cm.



Tracey Moffat: Fourth, 11; 2001


Tracey's "fourth" photograph was to capture the athletes "at a moments glance". The photograph was shot with a simple digital camera in Tracey's loft. Added to the images was supernatural coloured landscape backgrounds as she was after a pop, comic book quality photographs.
"Fourth" is a colour print on canvas, 35.5 x 43cm.





Fiona Hall: Force field, "Holdfast"

Fiona Hall's "Holdfast" is from her "Force feild" exhibition. The artwork has been made from tin, alumium and measures 27.5 x 27.4 x 2cm. Fiona Hall's artworks use everyday materials, such as tins, shown in this artwork. Her artworks explores aspects of domestic realm and consumption. Some of her other artwork explores humanity's relationship to nature.
